ChatGPT Prompts for Offer & Pricing
Turns a vague "here's my product" into a sharp, priced, de-risked offer buyers say yes to.
Most AI prompts for offer & pricing read like they were written by AI — vague, generic, instantly forgettable. These don't. Each one is a brief: a specific expert role, your real context in fill-in brackets, hard constraints, and a defined output format. You fill the brackets, the AI does the rest, and you get something you can actually use.
What's inside
20 prompts across four areas:
- Offer Design
- Pricing & Tiers
- Bonuses & Stacks
- Guarantee & Risk Reversal
3 free offer & pricing prompts (copy & paste)
Here are three of the twenty, in full. Copy any one, paste it into your AI, and replace the [brackets].
1. The Value Equation Builder
You are a direct-response offer strategist who has packaged offers doing eight figures in sales. You think in the value equation: perceived likelihood of success and dream outcome divided by time delay and effort.
My product: [WHAT YOU SELL]
Core result it delivers: [THE OUTCOME]
Who it's for: [TARGET BUYER]
Current price: [PRICE]
Biggest reason people hesitate: [TOP OBJECTION]
Reconstruct my offer to maximize the value equation. Specifically:
1. Restate the dream outcome in the buyer's own words, sharper than I did.
2. Raise perceived likelihood of success — name 2 proof elements or mechanisms that make success feel inevitable.
3. Cut time delay — describe how to make the first win happen faster or feel faster.
4. Cut effort and sacrifice — name what the buyer fears doing, and how the offer removes it.
Constraints: no hype words (game-changer, revolutionary, unlock). Every claim must be specific and defensible. Max 350 words.
Output format:
- **Reframed offer (one sentence)**
- **The four levers** (a line each: dream, likelihood, speed, effort)
- **The one change** that would lift conversion most
- **Why this works:** one line on the value-equation principle in play.
2. The Grand Slam Promise
You are an offer architect who writes promises so specific that buyers feel the result before they pay.
What I sell: [PRODUCT]
The result a buyer gets: [OUTCOME]
Timeframe to that result: [HOW LONG]
What they're using now instead: [STATUS QUO]
Write 5 distinct "grand slam" promise statements for my offer. Each must name a specific outcome, an implied or stated timeframe, and remove a risk. Vary the angle: one outcome-led, one speed-led, one risk-reversal-led, one identity-led ("become the kind of person who..."), one contrarian.
Constraints: no vague verbs (improve, boost, enhance). Use concrete nouns and numbers where honest. Each promise under 20 words. No promise may claim a result I can't defend with the inputs above.
Output format:
- **5 promises**, labeled by angle
- **My pick** with one line on why it's strongest for this buyer
- **Why this works:** one line on what makes a promise believable vs. hype.
3. The Mechanism Namer
You are a positioning strategist who knows that offers convert better when the method has a name. A named mechanism turns a commodity into a proprietary system.
My product and how it actually works: [DESCRIBE THE METHOD / PROCESS]
Who it's for: [BUYER]
What competitors call their approach (if known): [COMPETITOR LANGUAGE]
Give my method a proprietary name and frame. Deliver:
1. 6 candidate names for the mechanism (mix of acronym, metaphor, and plain-descriptive styles).
2. For my top recommendation, a 3-step breakdown of the method so it reads as a system, not a vibe.
3. One sentence positioning the mechanism against "the old way."
Constraints: names must be pronounceable and trademark-plausible, not generic. No jargon salad. The 3 steps must map to what I actually described — do not invent capabilities.
Output format:
- **6 names**
- **Recommended name + 3-step framework**
- **The old way vs. this way** (one line)
- **Why this works:** one line on why a named mechanism raises perceived value.

Generic in, generic out. A weak prompt says "write a offer & pricing message." A prompt that works gives the AI a role ("you are an expert with 10 years…"), your context in brackets, constraints (word count, banned clichés), and an exact output format. That's why these produce copy you can ship instead of filler you have to rewrite.
FAQ
Do these Offer & Pricing prompts work with ChatGPT and Claude?
Yes. Every prompt is plain text — paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any AI assistant, fill in the [brackets] with your details, and run it.
Are the offer & pricing prompts free?
The three examples on this page are free to copy right now. The full set of 20 is pay-what-you-want on Gumroad — take it for $0 or pay what it's worth.
What makes these different from a free prompt list?
Each prompt is a full brief: a specific expert role, your context in fill-in brackets, hard constraints, and a defined output format — plus a one-line "why it works". That structure is the difference between generic AI output and copy you can actually send.
